Session IV: Novel Engineering & Draining the Data Swamp

With greater machine scalability, our storage systems are being filled with more and more data through computational science & engineering – collecting into what IT calls data lakes. But the lakes become more like swamps with stagnant practices in managing the data. Innovative use of automation and machine learning present an opportunity to reclaim value in re-imagining computational workflows.
